There are two ways to translate your tour content into another language:

  1. AI Translation Method

  2. Manual Translation Method

The AI Translation Method is only available to customers who have both the Multi-language and AI Writing Assistant features in their Circuit license plan. Contact your Customer Success Specialist if you have questions about your license features.

Adding a Language to your Virtual Tour

AI Translation Method

1. Customer contacts their Circuit Customer Success Specialist

Your Customer Success Specialist will confirm your license features and will ask which language(s) you would like to offer based on the supported languages listed above.

2. Circuit configures multi-language capabilities in your CMS

The Circuit Team will enable your selected language(s) within your CMS.

3. Customer adds desired Glossary records

To avoid AI mistranslations or words and phrases, use the Glossary section of your Circuit CMS to create records for how youโ€™d like these terms to be translated into your target language(s).

4. Customer generates AI translated copy of your scenes and tours in your chosen language(s).

Select the scene and tour content that you would like to translate. Navigate to the menu at the bottom of the page, select More, and Translate.

Confirm the content being translated and select the languages to translate. Click Yes, translate.

More Information about Batch AI Translation

  • Upon starting a batch AI translation, you will receive an email that the translation has started.

  • At anytime you can view the progress of your batch translation on the Multi-language > Batches page or on your CMS homepage.

  • To cancel a batch translation, go to Multi-language > Batches and click Cancel all ongoing batches at the top of the page, or Cancel in the Status column.

  • While batch translation is in progress, the selected pages will be locked for editing.

  • When translation is complete, you will receive an email.

5. Customer notifies Circuit if they would like an export of each translated language for review.

The Circuit Team can generate a CSV export of your content in the translated language. For multiple languages, multiple spreadsheets will be provided.

6. Customer reviews AI translations, makes edits, and completes manual translations of additional fields.

For review done in a spreadsheet, the Circuit Team will provide designated instructions for how to update AI translations or replace untranslated English content in the spreadsheet. Manual translations will need to be done for the following tour elements:

  • Image titles

  • Calls to action

  • Personalization labels

  • Homepage introduction

For review done manually, check out this article about adding or editing individual texts.

7. Customer shares finalized translation with Circuit

Once review of your translated text is complete, please notify your Circuit Customer Success Specialist and share the updated CSV spreadsheet with all corrected translations.

8. Circuit publishes your new language on your virtual tour

Now your new language(s) is available to your virtual tour visitors!
