Creating a welcoming homepage is the first step in providing a great experience for your visitors. Setting up your Welcome Message allows you to greet users and guide them seamlessly into your tour.
Best practices for your homepage welcome message
When you are writing your welcome message, remember that this will be one of the first things new visitors will see when they land on your tour's homepage.
Make your message is welcoming and friendly for all visitors, emphasizing that they have arrived in your virtual tour experience.
Write the key takeaway message you want visitors to remember when they leave your virtual tour (a catchy fact or statistic, message in line with your branding, or a timely piece of information).
Keep it short, around 1-2 sentences, to prevent some of the message from being hidden (typically one Introduction Title content block and one Introduction Paragraph content block)
Add or update your homepage welcome message
Go to Settings > Configuration
Click to the Homepage tab
Add a tour Title which will appear as the virtual tour webpage name on the webpage tab.
Add an Introduction Title and an Introduction Paragraph, which act as your homepage welcome message
Save the updates
For new tours, don’t forget to confirm your default brand settings and ensure the other aspects of your homepage are completed while in this section of the CMS.
