If you already have existing Matterport spaces hosted on a different personal or departmental Matterport license, you can transfer them directly to Circuit's central Matterport account.
Transferring your spaces to Circuit consolidates your tour assets and helps you save extra costs, as you will no longer need to pay for a separate Matterport license to host your Matterport spaces. These Matterport spaces can still be embedded or promoted in other locations outside of the Circuit virtual tour.
Important Things to Know Before Transferring
Matterport Hosting Limitations: Circuit's Core+Engagement, Premier and Enterprise plans include Matterport hosting quotas. Confirm with your Customer Success Specialist that you have enough Matterport hosting space in your Circuit plan before initiating a transfer.
Change of Editing Access: Once a space is transferred to Circuit, it will leave your other Matterport account. If you need to make future edits to the Matterport settings or tags, you will need to make those changes through your team’s central Circuit Matterport login.
Note: You will still have full control over the Circuit guidecards and hotspots in the Circuit CMS.
Steps to Transfer a Matterport Space
Confirm with your Circuit Customer Success Specialist your available Matterport hosting quota.
Verify your current account's email. We will invite you to join as a Collaborator on the shared Matterport Folder for the transfer.
Log into your current Matterport account.
Locate the space you want to transfer in your Spaces tab.
Click the three dots (More Options) next to the space title.
Select Move to Folder from the dropdown menu.
Select the specific shared folder you were invited to.
Click Accept to finalize the move.
Once in the Shared Folder, we will transfer the ownership to the central Circuit team account. The space will then be securely hosted on Circuit's central account, and you can freely use the Matterport link to build out your scenes in the Circuit CMS or embed the spaces across other locations, websites, or portals.
