What's new in Circuit?

Better experiences for visitors. Faster work for you.

Maps are more accessible. Pronunciation is smarter. Your CMS is faster to navigate. Plus, the Instagram wait list is open.

Here's what's new this month.

Every visitor can navigate your map with ease

Your map experience now meets WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA accessibility standards, meaning visitors who rely on keyboards or assistive technology can explore your campus just as easily as anyone else.

They can browse markers, open location details, get directions, and close panels, all without a mouse. Focus stays on visible markers so nothing feels disorienting, and a cleaner layout with an improved "skip to content" link gets people to what they need faster.

Hear it in context, fix it with confidence

We heard you. Proper nouns are tricky for AI — "Strachan" isn't pronounced the way it looks, and Circuit's AI-generated audio should be smart enough to get it right.

The updated pronunciation workflow now pulls example sentences directly from your content, so you can hear any word or name spoken in context before deciding whether to adjust it. That context also helps the AI interpret language cues more accurately, meaning fewer corrections needed and better audio out of the box.

Scan and manage your content faster

Managing a large tour library means a lot of scanning. Listing views are now cleaner: tighter columns, single-line titles, and horizontal scrolling on smaller screens keep everything readable without the clutter.

For power users who want to fit even more on screen, try the new Snug mode in your account settings. Same information, just closer together. Circuit editors, we see you.

Real people, real moments, now inside your tour

Real life doesn't sit still, and now your virtual tour doesn't have to either. Coming soon, you'll have the ability to embed Instagram content directly into your tours, letting real-world moments live alongside your curated experience. It's the kind of depth that keeps visitors engaged and makes your tour feel alive.

What's fixed?

As you read this, Circuit is getting better

We're working hard to enhance Circuit's editor and user experience. A few recent updates and fixes to note:

  • Nested Tour Groups now load correctly in the Share modal

  • Portrait Vimeo videos display at full height in guide cards

  • Draft buildings no longer appear in published map views

  • Building data downloads reliably in the maps editor

  • Bulk label removal works across all content selections

  • Notice CTAs wrap cleanly when titles run long

  • Navigating back to the map mid-tour is smooth and error-free

  • Layout is tighter and more consistent on small landscape screens

We look forward to sharing the latest developments with you as we continue to improve Circuit.
