Create content faster with Smart Guide Cards and better maps

This month's update helps you create content faster with Smart Guide Cards, introduces improvements in Circuit CMS v6.1.1, and delivers a better maps experience for your visitors.

Skip repetitive setup with Smart Guide Cards

Creating lots of scenes often meant building the same Guide Card layouts over and over again. Smart Guide Cards eliminate that repetitive setup by automatically creating all the content blocks you need from three pre-built templates.

Smart Guide Cards also remove extra steps by automatically using your page title as the Guide Card title and letting you sync English Guide Card content to other languages with a single click, so you can focus on translating instead of rebuilding blocks from scratch.

Streamline editing in Circuit CMS v6.1.1

Everyday editing should feel faster and more intuitive. Circuit CMS v6.1.1 introduces quality of life improvements that let you save drafts earlier, streamline common editing tasks, and provide a clearer Schedule to Publish workflow so it's easier to see when content will go live. You'll spend less time clicking through the CMS and more time creating content.

Improve the Maps experience

Busy maps can make it difficult for visitors to quickly find important locations and follow directions.

We've improved marker clustering to reduce visual clutter and introduced feature-based icons that make maps easier to read at every zoom level, helping visitors find what they need with less effort.

When viewing directions, navigation routes now stand out more clearly, with more prominent routes and distinct start and end points. Other map markers fade into the background, keeping the focus on the route and where visitors are going.

Ongoing platform upgrades

Also rolled out this month

We're working hard to enhance Circuit's editor and user experience. A few recent updates and fixes to note:

  • Improved handling of maps points of interest without a feature type with a fallback pin icon instead of placeholder warning symbols

  • Improved Instagram thumbnail quality and error handling for incomplete gallery content

  • Improved contrast on standalone scenes for better accessibility

  • Added filters on scene listings for page status, map features, and location completeness
