Both Button and Timed CTAs can be added to your tours in Circuit. This article explains how to add them as well as how to incorporate a CTA into a scene Guide Card.

Adding a Button CTA to a Tour

You can have a maximum of three (3) Button CTAs on each tour. The Button CTA will appear in the upper right hand corner of all scenes on the tour.

To Add a Button CTA to a tour:

  1. Go to Tours in the navigation menu

  2. Drill down to the tour you want to add this CTA to

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the tour editing page

  4. Under Button Calls to Action, select Add button calls to action

  5. Click Choose CTA

  6. Select the CTA you wish to add

  7. Note: the order the CTAs appear on your CMS (from left to right) is how they will appear on the tour, with the CTA on the far right having a more prominent colour

  8. Click Save Draft or Publish when complete

Adding a Timed CTA to a tour

You can have a maximum of three (3) Timed CTAs on each tour. Timed CTAs will be set to pop up after a certain number of scenes.

  2. Drill down to the tour you want to add this CTA to

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the tour editing page

  4. Under Timed Calls to Action, select Add timed calls to action

  5. Click Choose timed CTA

  6. Select the CTA you wish to add

  7. Click Save Draft or Publish when complete

Adding a Button CTA to a Guide Card

Button CTAs can be excellent additions to Guide Cards, especially as a tool to prompt your visitors to learn more or take additional action. You may choose to include them within the main scene guide card, or even a hotspot guide card.

To Add a button CTA to a Guide Card:

  1. Go to Scenes in the navigation menu

  2. Drill down to the scene that you want to add this CTA to

  3. Scroll down to the scene's Guide Card Content, click on the purple plus and you have two options:

    1. Select Call to Action and select the button CTA you wish to add

    2. Select Button and select whether you would like it to be a Button with Link or Button with Form and complete the appropriate fields

  4. Click Save Draft or Publish when complete
