We highly recommend naming all media files in your CMS as these are used for accessibility purposes, and makes it easier for you to find the images when creating content. When visiting the virtual tour with a screen reader, the name of the image will be read: if the name has not been set, then the image file name is read. This is why it is essential that all images that find a place within your tour are named.
When the Circuit is assisting with production or post-production, we will add the media files to your CMS. Afterwards, you can go in and give them all a name. Check out the video and instructions below on how to name/rename your media files.
How to Name Media Files
Go to to Images in the left navigation menu
Click on the three dots in the top menu and Edit Missing Titles. This should load all the images that are without a name
Once you locate the images you want to name, add the name under the Title field or use the AI Writing Assistant magic wand button to generate a title
Click Update to save your changes
How to Rename Media Files
Go to to Images in the left navigation menu
Click on the image you want to rename
Enter in a new Title or use the AI Writing Assistant magic wand button to generate a new title
Click Save to save your changes
