Circuit is built as a responsive platform meaning that image and video display varies according to a user's device orientation and screen size. The resolution and image quality may also vary based on connection speed and screen size.

The following recommendations are intended to support the optimal selection of images and videos to display in Circuit.

Image Best Practices

  • A landscape aspect ratio is preferred, as portrait dimensions will usually end up smaller or cropped.

  • Using large images allows for the possibility to systematically resave the image in different ways to fit different scenarios.

  • In Circuit, add a focal point to an image to designate the most important area of the image and prevent cropping during the image display. If a focal point is not displaying in your live tour after making an adjustment, try waiting 15 minutes and then clearing your browser cache.
