For customers handling post-production on their own, we recommend the following steps for optimal results when editing and stitching your 360° panorama photos.

Post-Processing Steps

  1. Import RAW files into LightroomAdjust white balance across sets of 12 images

    • Adjust exposure, evening out within brackets and across the full set of images as best possible, to avoid banding

    • Decrease highlights, increase shadows slightly

    • Reduce noise

    • AVOID excessive sharpening, AVOID adjusting Clarity

    • Export as TIFF or high quality JPEG for blending

  2. Blend exposures using Enfuse or LREnfuse, reducing 12 images into 4 images

    • High res JPEGs output, or TIFF for best results

  3. Stitch images using PTGui

    • Check for stitching errors

    • Export as High res JPEG above 10,000px by 5,000px but less than 12,000px by 6,0000px

  4. Patch Nadir with a blur using Generative Fill (PS action file available for download here)

    • DO NOT use a mirror ball or logo

  5. Re-ingest into Lightroom

    • Colour correct and exposure correct as needed

    • Blurring faces/personal details if required

    • Export as high res JPEG, file size less than 30MB
