Within the Calls to Action (CTA) section of the CMS, analytics display the performance of each specific call to action once they are enabled on your Circuit virtual tour experience. In the listing view, you can see analytics from the past 30 day time period at a glance for the following:

  • Events

  • Success Events

  • Conversion

What is an event?

A CTA Event is the count of times when the Call to Action was fired or activated within your virtual tour. For a Button CTA, an event is counted when an end-user clicks on it. For a Timed CTA, an event is counted when it pops up.

What is a success event?

A Success Event is when the desired action of the CTA is achieved. The success event will depend on the action associated with a particular CTA:

  • Form: the form is submitted and submission tracking is enabled

  • Notice: the button within the CTA is clicked

  • External Link: the external link is opened in a new tab (this will occur with every CTA event with this action)

What is conversion?

The Conversion of a CTA tells us out of how many events were triggered, what percentage were successful. This is calculated in the following way:

(# of Success Events / # of Events) x 100 = Conversion (%)

If there are 0 ‘success events’ based on the actions specified above only the number of events will display. For example, if a Notice CTA does not have any button within it, only the events will display.

How can I use this data?

Use your CTA analytics data from the past 30 days to determine which CTAs are most effective and make updates to improve performance.
