Tour Groups organize tours on your virtual tour homepage. You can have one or many Tour Groups, but at least one group is needed in order to enable the Homepage. In this article, you will learn how to create a tour group and move a tour into an existing tour group.

Creating a Tour Group

  1. Go to Tours in the left navigation panel.

  2. At the top of your screen, click plus button.

  3. Select Tour Group.

  4. Under the Content tab, give the group a Title that will make sense for end users, like "Featured Tours" for example.

  5. Click Choose an Image and give your group an image that will make sense for end users (e.g. for a 'Residences' Tour Group, add an image of one of the residence buildings.) You can also choose to add a video rather than an image.

  6. Under the Promote tab, you can choose to change the slug associated with your tour group. You may choose to do this if your title is very long, as it is best to have a short slug.

  7. Provide a Meta description for your tour that will be displayed underneath a headline in search engine results.

  8. Publish the Tour Group.

  9. Move existing tours into the group, or create new tours inside the group.

To move a tour into a tour group:

  1. To the left of the tour you would like to move, click to check the box.

  2. Select Move from the menu that appears at the bottom of your screen.

  3. Click Choose Another Page.

  4. Drill down to find your tour by clicking the arrow into Tours, or use the search field to find the correct Tour Group.

  5. Select the Tour Group that you want to move the tour into.

  6. Click Yes, Move These Pages.
