Personalization allows visitors to create their own unique journey as they go through your content, choosing which scenes are most relevant to them.
With Personalization, you can create and edit categories and labels to organize your content to allow visitors to see what matters most to them.
In this article, you will learn how to create Categories and Labels within the Personalization tab of your Circuit CMS. Labels created here can be added to your scenes later.
What is a Category?
Categories are groups of labels, often grouped by similar themes. Visitors to your virtual tour site can see categories as well, but they can only personalize a tour using labels.
What is a Label?
Labels belong to categories and are what are assigned to scenes. Users choose which labels they are interested in, and are then shown tours that best meet their preferences.
How to Create a Category
Go to the Personalization tab in the navigation panel
At the top of your screen, click Add Category
Give your category a Name, and if you would like, an alternate name
Click Save
Your Categories will be ordered alphabetically. Hover over a category to Edit or Delete it.
How to Create a Label
Go to the Personalization tab in the navigation panel

On the right side of the Category name, click the Add Label button
