Having an effective and immersive virtual tour requires effective and immersive panoramic images, regular images, and embed videos. Using a wide variety of visual content within your tour will keep your visitors aware of what your spaces look like and will help them to be able to picture themselves in these spaces. πΈ
All images are uploaded and stored in your Image Gallery, and all embed videos are uploaded and stored in your Embed Video Gallery. From each gallery, you can organize your media into collections, assign tags to further organize them, as well as rename images and edit the focal point of images, among other things.
Panoramic Images
Panoramic images, also referred to as 360 images, are the images that are used to create 360 Scenes. They are stored in your Image Gallery. They are created either with a dedicated 360 camera, or by taking several images of a space and "stitching" them together in post-production. You can learn more about the production and post-production packages Circuit offers for 360 images and regular images by checking out this article.
Images
Regular images are stored in your Image Gallery, and can be used in a variety of ways in your virtual tour. They are used to supplement your main guide cards and hotspot guide cards, as the main visual media for gallery scenes, as tour card images, and as header images on your homepage. Any logo image or tour guide image you upload will also be stored in the Image Gallery.
Embed Videos
Videos that you want to add to your virtual tour are added as embed videos. The video is not uploaded directly, like an image, but added instead through a link to a video uploaded elsewhere. This means that all videos you wish to add to your virtual tour must be uploaded somewhere else first, like Vimeo, YouTube, or QQ. Videos can be added to guide cards and gallery slides like images, and can be added as a header video on your homepage of your virtual tour. The header video must always be a Vimeo link.
